This image was done for the Steampunk Challenge. I used poly modeling techniques in Max. Lighting was achieved using standard lights in Max and the final image was generated with the aid of Photoshop.

Originally I was planning to create a steampunk Kraken, which I saw few other members in the forums were also working on. So after running a search, and to differenciate from other entries I embraced the pre historic fact; Kraken as a lobster thus resulting my final image. All comments are welcomed.
